Flipping.

Building.
Scan a QR code and land on the exact drawing for the room you're standing in, so your crew builds off the current print, not the stale one that gets torn out and rebuilt. Every device (serial, model, photo) is captured before it's concealed, so you own a record of what got installed. The daily report builds itself from the same scans.
The drawings are the job. So why aren't they working for you?
You're flipping through plan sets, digging through email, and chasing foremen at end of shift. Half the time the crew already built off a sheet that changed, and you still owe the GC a complete report before you leave.
Every foreman, super and PM has the same problem: the information you need is buried inside static drawings. Which receptacle ties to which circuit? What did Crew 3 log on Level 4 six hours ago?
That's not a people problem. That's a tool problem. And it costs you money when a dispute comes up.
Three steps from scan to a verified record.
TradePlane is built around the drawings your crews already use, not another system they have to learn from scratch.
Scan the QR Code
A QR sticker on the wall opens the exact drawing view for that room. No digging through the app, no password. One scan, the right detail.
Capture and Update on the Spot
Log install progress, capture serial, model and photo, and work the code-tied rough-in checklist for each device, all tied to its exact spot on the drawing.
You Own the Record
Every scan captures what got installed, and where, before it's covered. You walk away with a record of what your crew built and the proof to back it. The daily report for the GC builds itself from the same activity.
Built for the person holding the phone.
Device-to-Panel Traceability
Devices linked to their circuit and panel, read from the panel schedules, right on the drawing.
The Daily Report Builds Itself
Field activity turns into a GC-ready daily report, generated and emailed on a schedule you set.
Changes Highlighted by Trade
When a revision comes in, you see what changed for your trade instead of comparing sheets by eye.
Works From Your Phone
Runs in the phone's browser. Crew members log in with a text-message code, no password, once they're added to the job.
What foremen ask first.
Do my crews have to download an app?
No. TradePlane runs in the phone's web browser. Crew members log in with a code sent by text message, no password. Someone on the job adds them during setup, so a stranger can't scan their way in.
What happens when the drawings get revised?
TradePlane highlights what changed for your trade. Devices you've already captured carry over when the sheet is reissued at the same page size. If the page size changes, that sheet has to be set up again.
Does it pull submittals?
For HVAC equipment today, the submittal and spec sheet sit on the device record. Electrical and plumbing equivalents aren't built yet, and there's no submittal review or approval workflow.
